Houston, TX – June 18, 2025 – This Saturday, June 21, families across Houston are called to take a stand in honor of Stomp Out Human Trafficking Day, a citywide initiative started in 2018 by the nonprofit organization, The Creativity Shell, and officially proclaimed by the late Mayor Sylvester Turner.

We are beyond excited to invite you to the Creativity Shell’s Creativity Hour launch at H&H America's on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
This event is not just an opportunity to explore your own creativity—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact on countless young lives across the country.
Millions of children in the USA are not given the opportunity to think outside the box and tap into their creative potential. Creativity Hour is designed to change that by offering both you and children the chance to engage in hands-on creative expression. Through this program, we aim to bring positive mental health and creativity to the forefront, not just for the participants, but also to help expand these opportunities into local schools, making a lasting difference.
The mission of the Creativity Shell is to empower youth to engage in creative activities that support their mental health, build their confidence, and foster a sense of community. We provide art, sewing, cooking, and other creative programs that offer kids a safe space to express themselves and discover their potential.
As a participant, you will receive a mystery box of supplies to use during the hour—each item is thoughtfully curated to spark your creativity and inspire you to create something unique. It’s your time to step away from the daily grind, focus on your mental well-being, and experience the joy of creating something from the heart.
This event also serves as a fantastic team-building opportunity. Whether you’re attending with coworkers, friends, or family, Creativity Hour encourages collaboration, boosts morale, and strengthens connections—all while doing something positive for mental health and creativity.
Your $25 donation for registration goes directly toward supporting the expansion of Creativity Hour into classrooms across the country, where we can reach millions of children who need to experience creativity, healing, and self-expression.
We hope you’ll join us for this special moment of inspiration and healing, all while making a meaningful difference.
