Beginning Sewing 101 - is a great FIRST sewing class! This class is great for children (5+) who are learning how to sew and/or are still working on some of the fundamental skills in sewing such as patience, problem solving, decision making and strengthening fine motor skills.

This class is great for students who have taken beginner classes in the past. Students in the Intermediate Sewing Class are either students with sewing experience and can cope with working on larger/more complicated sewing projects than the Beginning Sewing Class.

Teen Sewing/Textile Arts Club
This is a special sewing club for Teens (Middle School and up!) We will be learning, sewing, creating cosplay costumes and accessories. This class will encompass a wide range of disciplines. Sewing will be a major focus, but we will also work on molding, casting, painting special effects, fabric/textile breakdown and more.

Mobile classes taught at Humble ISD schools are held in one of our two busses Jerry or Sherry. Each day, we travel to a new location and students board the bus after class for their sewing/textile arts classes.

What is a Love Bug?
A Love Bug is a stuffed friend – a pillow – given to children. Many will include a note tucked inside with words of encouragement, of support.
What is the Love Bug Program?
The Creativity Shell in partnership with Moda Fabrics, Bernina Sewing Machines, Hobbs Bonded Fiber and everyone with a sewing machine or hand sewing needle to Sew Love Bugs to support youth mental health awareness.
