For years, The Creativity Shell has been known as a place where children discover their voice, confidence, and imagination. But creativity doesn’t stop when we grow up and neither should our access to it.
Creativity is not a luxury. It’s a human need. As adults, we carry stress, responsibility, and expectations that often leave little room to simply create. Many of us were told at some point that we weren’t “artistic enough,” that creativity belonged to kids, or that mistakes weren’t allowed. Creativity NOW exists to change that narrative.
This initiative offers adults a safe, welcoming space to explore creativity without judgment or pressure. There are no grades, no right or wrong outcomes just room to experiment, make mistakes, and reconnect with yourself. This kind of open creative space reduces stress, builds meaningful social connections, and helps combat the isolation so many adults quietly experience.
Creativity heals. It grounds us. It reminds us that we are more than our to-do lists.
Because of this, The Creativity Shell is expanding our adult programming inviting parents, caregivers, professionals, seniors, and anyone who has ever felt disconnected from their creative side to come create with us. Sewing, art, cooking, crafting, and more these are not just skills, they are tools for mental wellness, community, and joy.

Some of the skills students in this class will be working on are:
- Pattern Drafting (Drafting a basic block and pants pattern)
- Pattern Adjustments.
- Alterations
- Using different functions on your sewing machine.
